World Freebord Day

Saturday, September 5th, 2009 is World Freebord Day!

WFD is a collaboration of events around the world, with the mission to have as many Freeborders as possible riding on one day.

It’s time to show the world what Freebord is all about, so let’s rally the community for one day all together. Whether you join up with a bigger ride or just go out on your own, show your support by riding wherever you can – down mountains, through neighborhoods or at the local skate park. Events are in the works in more than 10 countries – Check back here for details on a ride near you.

If you have a camera, film yourself riding and give a shout out to the global community for WFD. Then you can share your vid by uploading it to YouTube and posting it in the World Freebord Day (WFD 2009) group. All riding styles and abilities welcome – at the end of the weekend we’ll be showcasing them on the Freebord Blog. Questions? Email [email protected].

Progression and innovation is what drives us. Through years of evolution and rider driven design, Freebord has engineered a setup that rides exactly like a snowboard on pavement.
