Life in the back of the Freebord Van, better know to the team as the “Dethbox” is rough. Words cannot fully explain the extent of its clutches, but it’s kind of like preheating a hotdog in a beer can. It’s windowless interior and lack of air condition makes for an intoxicating mix that is bound to break even the strongest of men. Justin Oliver & I were lucky enough to avoid this turmoil and sat plush in the film truck with our seats back and the AC on full blast. Here’s a bunch of 35mm shots I took through out the trip of the team stopping for gas, eating Denny’s, collecting receipts, and palling out in the back of the box. Life’s tough for a Freeborder.
