PARK CITY, UT- Yesterday the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced the official team roster for the Sochi Olympics.  All-in-all it looks like a solid team, and the US should have an excellent showing this year.  That being said, we are pretty bummed Scotty Lago didn’t make the cut this time.

Kelly Clark won both women’s qualifier events to become the favorite in Sochi.  2006 Olympic champion, Hannah Teeter, had a strong showing with two third place finishes this Friday,  and is also considered to be a contender.

Now to acknowledge the elephant in the room, Shaun White. He has some new tricks up his sleeve this year, one being a frontside double cork 1440 that he teased us with in this GoPro video below.  So does Shaun take home the Gold this year or is it an upset? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
