Since 1997 Freebord has been producing the only skateboard that allows you to snowboard the streets. It’s design has been constantly tweaked and perfected by riders, for riders– which is also likely why it’s taken us so long to perfect our design.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to introduce the new and improved, G3-R Freebord Truck.
4˚ ANGLED HANGER
One of the biggest changes on the G3-R is the angled hanger which allows more of the edge wheel to touch the ground. To put it simply, this gives you more stopping power than ever before, and as a bonus effect you get more rocker for a smoother ride.
At the end of the hanger you’ll find it’s been tapered to allow for almost any skate wheel to fit properly. So while we still think our Da Blues are the best wheel for Freebording, we want you to have the ability to rock any set of wheels you like.
Check it out below!
We did not forget about all you shredders that like to do grinds!
We’ve beveled off that sharp edge on the hangers so you can stay on your grind 24/7.
A redesign of the center wheel bracket made it lighter and more adjustable, now giving you more rocker. Another small but notable improvement is the rivet stack is much shorter, essentially making it stronger and more resistant to strong impacts, freestyle tricks, and drops.
I'm really enjoying the feel of the G3-Rs. TheDavid Bickett - Pro Team Rider
angled hangers give a much better feel while sliding or
holding an edge. When carving back and forth on the new trucks it feels more stable and controllable. All in all I give these trucks five stars!
The way the hanger is angled really keeps your edges solid, and you now have full contact on the wheels— it also helps when braking or holding an edge. This new truck is the way a Freebord should be.Josh Harris - Morgan Hill, CA
When bombing into sharp corners I could drop my center of gravity and my inside rail would lock into the corner more– It's like I would be sliding off the road then I would crouch and it would lock the rail completely. Awesome!Miles Sandberg - Salt Lake City, UT

You fellas make some clutch inventions. It’s only a matter of time before most of us break down and get these!
The coolest inventors around. Anything freebord has made since their birth has been the most ingenious invention since the last freebord invention. These guys have great vision and coninue to kill it and make freebords better. The boards have come a long way since the alpha and are now so on point that they feel just like a snowboard. If you have been thinking about buying one, do it. Get the newest set up, try da blues wheels. If you have the old model and you were thinking that the new g3r model is better, it is. Its way better. You can pace yourself on a freebord which is why it is 1000 times safer than bombing hills on a longboard. I havent suffered more than a small scratch in my 12 years freebording all of the biggest and steepest hills around. On a longboard, though, i have been fully ran over by a truck, road rashed, and have had countless sketchy bails and scary speed wobbles that I should not have survived. Literally could have died a bunch of times on a longboard. Longboarding is sketch. Buy a freebord.
