The guys over at Whoah Snow know a lot about snowboarding, but not much about Freebording.
I think “aware” is a good word for my past experience with freeboarding. I guess I’ve known about it, but never actually seen it first hand and also never really looked into it much. That is, until I was reading a post over on Afterbang that Gavin wrote about snowboarding alternatives.
I’d love to give this a shot, but obviously money and a serious lack of good hills is holding me back. OK, it may be a little bit of nerves holding me back as well. While we do have hills here in New Hampshire, id probably get hit by a car on my first run! (kidding). But in all seriousness, have you or anyone you’ve known ever tried this? I’d love to hear some first hand accounts.
Cool that we’re finally getting recognized by some snow blogs – and not just in the wackyboards genre. Seems like those who know their shit have the good sense to watch a couple videos and do some research before they write us off for good. Click here to go to their post and show some love.
the longboarding piture next to the freebord bit should be a freebord picture!!
on the Afterbang article that is
They need to order some bords and get riding! There are still a few months before snowboarding picks back up.
Hey thanks for the props, it’s good to be recognized haha. I’m definitely interested in checking it out for myself otherwise I wouldn’t have posted anything. I basically sit around all summer waiting for snow to fall anyways, it’s about time I picked up a good alternative.
Yeah man! hit us up [email protected] and we’ll get you on a board in no time
ohhhwhaaat? stooked to see my pic on there for sure! 😀
