This year’s FRA weekend had an added experience of something that many of us here in the states have not seen. A downhill freestyle Freebord slopestyle event put on by team rider Daniel Clay along with Perpetual Minerals and Entitlement Urethane. Big shout out to Tahoe Board Company and Wasatch Freebord Crew for helping with ramp building.
Here are Freebord we were pretty swamped with the FRAs so we decided to help in our own way. I stayed up late the night before the first day of weekend making this custom “Blank Canvas Maple Deck” for the winner – which turned out to be David Shiotis, the 2014 Rider Of The Year.
