THEY ORDER BORDS, DISPLAY THEM, PEOPLE COME IN AND “TRY” THEM IN STORE, THEY GET FUCKED UP, R.E.I. SENDS THEM BACK TO US AS DEFECTIVE/BROKEN AND WE ARE SUPPOSED TO REPLACE THEM.

ONCE MACHINES ARE MASS PRODUCING MILLIONS OF BORDS A YEAR FREEBORD COULD AFFORD TO LOSE THAT MARGIN.
Maybe if the bords didn’t get fucked up so often/bords were engineered better then copelands or REI would not ask you to replace demo products.
